Napoli and Galatasaray are again meeting to agree on the transfer of Victor Osimhen after the transfer looked in danger of collapsing at the last minute.
The main bone of contention is the bank guarantees that Napoli have demanded for the payment of the 75 Million Euros release clause of the striker.
“The deal for Victor Osimhen has not fallen through so far, and talks with Napoli are ongoing,” reported Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano.
“The Italian club is insisting on bank guarantees as a key step towards accepting 75 Million Euros over five years.
“Galatasaray remains in Milan to negotiate and obtain approval.”
Fellow Transfer Expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported same, while noting that UEFA do not make it mandatory for such guarantees in transfers.
Galatasaray Vice-President Abdullah Kavukcu has delayed his return to Istanbul to ensure the transfer will happen.
