Italian Serie A club SSC Napoli have after many delays formally announced the transfer of Victor Osimhen from Lille.
The initial announcement did not give details of the transfer only to say the striker has signed permanently for Napoli, a fact that was also confirmed by the club president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
But in the media, it is widely believed to be a five-year contract worth around 60 million after bonuses and add-ons.
This makes him the most expensive Nigeria star.
The 21-year-old striker will pocket about five million Euros a year after tax.
He has previously played for Wolfsburg in Germany as well as Sporting Charleroi of Belgium.
He has represented Nigeria at U17, U20, U23 and full international levels.
