Nazim Amokachi has revealed he is driven to be his best by his famous father, who was a big part of Nigerian football Golden Generation of the 90s.
The 27-year-old striker has signed for Zambian club NAPSA Stars.
“He has a big influence in Nigeria and Africa as a whole,” Amokachi Junior said of his father.
“He gives me the drive to be the best I can be.
“He told me about NAPSA Stars because he has a friend at the club.”
Nazim Amokachi has now set targets at his new club.
“I am very honoured to be part of this beautiful football club,” he said.
“The people have been friendly, helpful and tried to ease me into the life and Zambia is a very beautiful country.
“I hope to improve every day and help NAPSA Stars get to best possible position.”
Last season, NAPSA Stars finished fifth in the Zambian top flight.
