Anderlecht new signing Paul Mukairu has been named in a Transfer Signings XI to look out for in Belgium when the season resumes after the international break.
Voetbalnieuws.be picked Mukairu as a twin striker alongside former Anderlecht star Lukasz Teoderczyk, who has returned to the Jupiler Pro League to team up with Charleroi after a stint in the Italian Serie A with Udinese.
The exciting 20-year-old striker has moved on a season-long loan from Turkish Super Lig side Antalyaspor with option for Anderlecht to buy him permanently thereafter.
“The huge proceeds from (Jeremy) Doku transfer (to Rennes) mainly helps to cushion the debts for Anderlecht, who have opted for Paul Mukairu on loan with option to buy,” said Voetbalnieuws.be
“On paper, the 20-year-old Nigerian is a striker, but like Mustapha Bundu, he can actually play anywhere up front.
“Vincent Kompany, however, especially crosses the fingers that the rough diamond, whose profile and athletic ability look promising, can be used more quickly in the first team.”
