FC Copenhagen coach Jacob Neestrup has said Paul Mukairu will have to find another club so as to play regularly in the new season.
Mukairu, 23, cost the top Danish club 1.9 Million Euros when he joined from Antalyspor in January 2022.
He signed a four-year contract.
However, last season he only played a total of 168 minutes spread over 10 matches in all competitions.
“Paul has not played under me. Therefore, I can understand that some rumors arise. Although he has had close to zero minutes in my time, he is a player who comes in every day with his head up and his chest up. He makes no problems whatsoever, but does his job for the good of the club,” the coach told Tipsbladet.
“I hope for Paul that we can find a solution to his situation.”
The local media have already reported that the forward could be on his way to Darmstadt, who have been promoted to the German Bundesliga.
He could be loaned there with option for a permanent transfer thereafter.
