Moses Simon has told SCORENigeria he is delighted his goal against Nice this past season was rated among the top goals in the French Ligue 1 for the past decade.
Simon powered home a downward header from a cross from the right to put FC Nantes in front of that fixture.
His effort was rated No 25 best goal of the past 10 years in France.
“Baba God has done it again!” he said.
“I am speechless after I won the Player of the Season, all glory To GOD.
“This can only spur me to do more in my career.
“I have been so blessed this season by God – the arrival of my new baby and as well the most valuable player of the season in a club I am spending my first season and the first time playing In the French league .
“I am honoured and grateful to God.”
It would also be recalled that Simon, 24, was recently voted the Player of the Season by Nantes after he scored nine goals and provided eight assists.
