Moses Simon is in line for another major trophy in Europe after he scored the winning penalty to propel FC Nantes to the Final of Coupe de France at the expense of AS Monaco.
He scored from the spot to make it 4-2 in the shootout in favour of Nantes.
Both Nantes and Monaco could not be separated even after extra time as scores stood at 2-2.
And in the ensuing penalty shootout, the Super Eagles star showed character by tucking away the decisive penalty to lift ‘The Canaries’ to the cup final.
It will be an all-Ligue1 Final on May 7 as Nantes take on OGC Nice.
Moses Simon won the Belgian league championship with KAA Gent in 2014 as well as several major trophies in Slovakia with AS Trencin.
