It will be a largely experimental Super Eagles that will take on Egypt in a 2025 AFCON warm-up game in Cairo Tuesday night as several of the top stars like Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon have opted out of the friendly.
It is therefore expected that fresh call-ups like Pisa midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Blackburn Rovers fullback Ryan Alebiosu, Tochukwu Nnadi from Belgian club Zulte-Waregem and Croatia-based striker Salim Fago Lawal will all make their Super Eagles bow in Egypt.
Established internationals like Wilfred Ndidi, Francis Uzoho and Stanley Nwabali will also feature.
The test match will allow both teams to make five substitutions each.
Tuesday night’s clash at the Cairo International Stadium will kick off at 8pm.
