Moses Simon and captain William Ekong have been selected by CAF in the official Best XI of the first round of the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was also named as one of the substitutes for this team.
The Best XI are set up in a 4-3-3 formation with Ekong as one of the central defenders, while Moses Simon will feature on the left wing of attack.
These nominations have come after Augustine Eguavoen was named by CAF as the Best Coach of the group stage of the AFCON.
