French Government investigations into the record-breaking transfer of Victor Osimhen from Lille to Napoli have so far made some interesting findings.
It has been uncovered that the over 80 Million Euros transfer fee for the striker included an inflated 20 Million Euros for four players – three from the Napoli youth team and goalkeeper Karnezis.
It has also been found out that the cash of 50 Million Euros to be paid by Napoli to Lille will be paid over five years.
This was to allow Napoli to accommodate such a massive transfer outlay.
Huge commissions were also paid out to agents amid suspicions that these monies made their way out of football.
Investigators want to find out where the money in this transfer has gone.
However, both Napoli and the player have so far not been brought into the case yet.
