Next month’s 2026 World Cup Playoffs in Morocco will be tough and as such the Super Eagles cannot afford to take any team for granted.
According to Nice striker Terem Moffi, it will be winner-take-all in this mini tournament as there won’t be any margin the make mistakes.
“The Playoffs will be tough as every team wish to be at the World Cup,” warned Moffi, who made a cameo appearance against Benin Tuesday in Uyo.
“Gabon will not be easy opponents, they have so many top players now led by (Pierre-Emerick) Aubameyang and they have been flying in the qualifiers.
“Also, both Cameroon and DR Congo cannot be taken lightly.
“The African Playoffs will ask more of us than the Intercontinental Playoffs next and so we have to give everything that we have got.”
Nigeria tackle Gabon in the ‘first semi-final’ Thursday, November 13, with Cameroon taking on the Democratic Republic of Congo in the ‘second semi-final’ Friday, November 14.
