FC Lorient striker Terem Moffi has been drafted by the Super Eagles as a late replacement for injured Everton forward Alex Iwobi ahead of 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic.
Moffi won his third cap for the Eagles in last month’s World Cup qualifier in Cape Verde, which Nigeria won 2-1.
His two other full international appearances were in friendlies against Cameroon in June.
Moffi will have to battle Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu for a first-team shirt.
The Eagles are already without Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo.
