Terem Moffi has got everyone talking after he stole the show for FC Lorient to shock champions Lille.
The authoritative L’Equipe newspaper picked him as Man of the Match with an impressive rating of 8/10.
On Twitter, some praised his individual quality, others predicted he will not be at Lorient for very long, while some others demanded coach Gernot Rohr give him a decent run in the Super Eagles after he has been a sub in all three caps he has won thus far.
TM @D20048 gushed: “Moffi looks class” accompanied by a video clip showing the young striker driving into the box to deliver a superb assist for the opening goal.
“Terem Moffi is a ridiculously good striker,” further praised Zach Lowry.
Marcus Bring: “Terem Moffi’s numbers were among the better in the top 5 leagues last season despite playing for a relegation candidate.
“To see him continue on that path in the new season is therefore no surprise.
“One of the most promising U23 strikers in football.”
“Terem Moffi. A player worth a lot of money. I’m a big fan,” saluted Football Talent Scout – Jacek Kulig.
Scouted Football insisted there’s “more to his game than just goals”.
“Will love to see a 4-4-2 formation with Osimhen and Terem Moffi spearheading the (Super Eagles) attack,” suggested Optimus-9aul.
“Moffi and Iheanacho and Osimhen!! Afcon fear us,” boasted SirNewton.
