OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi was among the early arrivals to the Super Eagles training camp in Portugal ahead of friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
Moffi had a transit in Germany from his French base before he flew into Portugal.
There were reports that he may join a growing list of players who have pulled out of the friendlies due to injury after he was forced out of his club’s Ligue 1 game at the weekend.
Nottingham Forest stars Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina as well as Jamilu Collins from Cardiff City will miss the tune-up matches in Portugal due to injury.
Nigeria take on Saudi Arabia on Friday, October 13, before they take on Mozambique three days later as part of their preparations for next month’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
