Terem Moffi is expected in Portugal later today to finalise his transfer to FC Porto from OGC Nice of France.
The two clubs have reportedly agreed on a loan with an option to buy estimated at eight million euros.
It’s the end of a two-month ordeal for Terem Moffi, ever since that evening of November 30, when the Nigerian striker was physically attacked by Nice supporters, still smarting from a heavy defeat in Lorient (1-3).
After two months sidelined and the beginnings of a standoff with his club, the 26-year-old Super Eagles striker will finally leave the French Riviera without having to take the matter to the labour court, which he had considered.
After several days of negotiations with his representatives, who were in Nice in recent hours, Moffi (under contract with Les Aiglons until June 2027) is now expected in Porto.
