Terem Moffi today achieved his best-ever goals record in the French Ligue 1 after he fired his 15th goal this season at FC Nantes.
The Super Eagles striker gave OGC Nice a fourth minute lead off a corner before the home team fought back to restore parity.
He also assisted for Nice to score a second goal for a 2-2 draw on the road.
It was a great reaction for the striker after a very subdued performance in the Europa League against Sheriff of Moldova in the past week.
Moffi is now four goals behind the leading scorers in the league – Jonathan David (Lille) and Kylian Mbappe (PSG).
Fellow Super Eagles star Moses Simon was a 65th minute sub for Nantes.
Moffi, 23, netted 14 goals in his first season in Ligue 1 in the 2020/2021 season.
Last season, he could only score eight goals in the French top flight.
His new club are now pushing to qualify for European competition as they are now four points outside the qualification bracket.
