Various reports have suggested that Victor Osimhen is set for a major transfer away from Napoli with PSG and Manchester United now in the fore front for his signature.
According to top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen is now PSG top transfer target with the exit of Lionel Messi and possibly Kylian Mbappe next season.
“Osimhen higher than Kolo Muani (France and Eintracht Frankfurt striker) on PSG list,” reported Romano.
He further said negotiations may not be easy because Napoli want at least 150 Million Euros for him, while PSG really want to sign him because they believe he will be a very valuable addition to the team.
It has already been reported that the striker’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has on the table bids from PSG and Chelsea.
Another transfer expert, Di Marzio, reported that Napoli president Aurelio Di Laurentiis will meet with the striker’s agent to decide on a way forward.
“If anyone wants to buy Osimhen, the starting price set by Napoli President De Laurentiis is €150m,” he disclosed.
“There will be a meeting in the coming days between Napoli’s President and his agent Roberto Calenda to understand the conditions of an exit or possible renewal.”
Latest reports also suggested that Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit of the Super Eagles star striker.
It is claimed that Spurs are reluctant to sell captain Harry Kane and so United have shifted their gaze on Osimhen.
Contacts have reportedly been made with the player’s handlers and once the takeover is through, he will be the priority transfer signing.
However, Bayern Munich consider Osimhen too expensive.
