Club Brugge will be upbeat going into this week’s decisive UEFA Champions League tie at Lazio after David Okereke came off the bench to give them all three points against Saint-Truiden.
Okereke hit target in the 57th minute, three minutes after he replaced compatriot Emmanuel Dennis.
It was his second goal in 10 league appearances.
Club Brugge are aiming to qualify for the Round of 16 of the Champions League at the expense of Lazio on Tuesday.
They have seven points going into the final Group F match against Lazio, who have nine points.
They will therefore need to win to reach the knockout stage of the competition.
If they failed to do so, they will drop to the Europa League Round of 32.
