Manchester City are the latest Premier League club to be connected to Super Eagles skipper Wilfred Ndidi.
Manchester City and Hull City have recently been mentioned as clubs showing interest in 29-year-old defensive midfielder Ndidi, though this interest from the English teams has not been confirmed.
Despite the links, the player is happy at Besiktas and has not submitted a transfer request.
A source close to the matter also stated that the former Leicester City player has not initiated any steps to depart from the Turkish club.
Before his arrival in Turkey, Ndidi had also attracted interest from Manchester United, Ajax Amsterdam, and Celtic.
Besiktas will decide his future in the coming weeks, determining whether to retain him or consider any potential offers.
The Nigerian international has earned 79 caps, scoring one goal.
His contract with Besiktas runs until June 2028, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €8.00m.
