Arnaut Danjuma, whose displays for AFC Bournemouth in a 3-1 win at Norwich City earned him another Man-of-the-match award, has credited self-belief for his team’s recent fine run.
“Yes we have won six games in a row, the secret I think is self-belief by individual players, belief in teammates, belief in the trainers and everyone involved in the team,” he explained.
The Nigerian-Dutch forward, who scored his 14th goal of the season and also provided an assist in the game, said they got the full points they went for at promoted Norwich City.
“Norwich are a top team, they are on top of the league and back in the Premier League. They are a good side, it was a good match to test ourselves and we did well,” he told Bournemouth TV.
“First 20 minutes they dominated the game, we came to the match with a mission for three points. We equalised in the second half and that gave us more confidence.”
