Terem Moffi today continued to take Ligue 1 by storm when his brace saw him tie on the top of the goals chart with eight goals same as Neymar and Kylian Mbappe as well as lift FC Lorient to second spot on the table.
FC Lorient, who in the last two seasons battled against relegation, shot to second place on the table with 25 points from 10 matches on the back of today’s 2-1 win at Brest.
They are now just a point behind champions and table toppers PSG.
Super Eagles striker Moffi, 23, was again the hero for his club when he drew them level after 24 minutes, before he grabbed the match winner in the 53rd minute.
His eight goals thus far equal his overall tally in Ligue 1 last season.
Moffi netted 14 goals in his debut season in France.
