Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye must count himself lucky on his return to action for Serie A club Udinese, who salvaged a point at Cremonese.
Twice home team Cremonese hit the post, but Udinese held on to run away with a 1-1 draw Monday night.
Okoye was thrown straight back to the Starting XI after he had served out a two-month ban for a betting-related offence.
The goalkeeper made two saves and posted 76% accurate passes in his comeback game.
Super Eagles fans will be joyous that he can now battle Stanley Nwabali for the No 1 shirt leading up to next month’s World Cup playoffs.
