Coach Justine Madugu needs to be given a contract by the NFF after he led the Super Falcons to win a 10th WAFCON in Morocco, according to former international Judith Chime.
Long-serving assistant coach Madugu, 61, has been in temporary charge of the women’s team since the departure of the American coach Randy Waldrum.
“He should be given a deal and the backroom staff reorganised,” said former Super Falcons goalkeeper Chime.
“I blame the coach that he doesn’t have a contract even though I know that Nigeria is a difficult place to work.”
Chime celebrated the Falcons record-extending 10th WAFCON crown.
“I am very, very excited and I celebrate them for job well done,” she said.
“We have again proved to the world that we are good enough.”
