French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyon have had to take a big financial hit after they agreed a deal with German club Hoffenheim on the transfer of Gift Orban.
Hoffenheim third offer of 12 Million Euros for the 22-year-old striker has been accepted by Lyon, according to L’Equipe.
This bid is two Millions Euros less than what the French club paid for Gift Orban to sign him a year ago from Belgian club Gent.
Ligue 1 club RC Lens were also interested in the striker, but their bid was miles apart from Lyon valuation.
The one-time Super Eagles invitee has agreed a contract for four and half years with Hoffenheim pending a routine medical.
He has been axed from the Lyon main squad after a major falling out with coach Pierre Sage.
