Premier League leaders Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on 18-year-old Trey Ogunsuyi.
Fichajes previously reported this and now English news outlets are following suit.
The young striker, who currently plays for Sunderland, is reportedly on the radar of the English top club, according to The Daily Mail.
Ogunsuyi has impressed this season with 14 goals in 16 games at youth level and has even been given a place on the bench for the first team in the Championship.
Liverpool’s interest is said to be nothing new. The club has been following Ogunsuyi for some time and is now said to be ready to make a concrete offer, according to The Daily Mail.
However, a transfer is far from easy, as Ogunsuyi is already signed to Sunderland on a professional contract. This means that Liverpool must first reach an agreement with the English second division club.Liverpool are reportedly torn between signing Ogunsuyi in January or waiting until the summer.
The young attacker, who has shown his versatility with the Belgium U19 team, is praised for his qualities as a striker.
