Napoli may be in pole position to sign Victor Osimhen, but Lille’s staggering asking price of 80 million Euros could put the Italian Serie A club off the chase.
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Lille’s hefty price tag is a big stumbling block for Napoli, who have been reported to have already agreed personal terms with the Super Eagles front man.
The striker is believed to now cost € 50 million. Before the corona crisis, Lille demanded a whopping € 80 million for their star, who has also been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Osimhen’s representatives have revealed Napoli have fully confirmed their interest, but they may now have to look elsewhere for their striker because of the price.
