Libya have appealed against CAF verdict that favoured the Super Eagles in respect of a botched 2025 AFCON qualifier involving both countries.
They will also consider taking the matter to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) should they not get justice at the CAF Appeals Board.
CAF gave Nigeria three points and three goals and slammed a $50,000 fine on Libya after the CAF disciplinary board ruled that Libya breached several articles to do with fair play after the Super Eagles were held hostage for over 20 hours at a Libyan airport before a 2025 AFCON qualifier slated for Benina.
The match was not played as Nigeria flew back home in protest.
Acting president of the Libyan Football Federation (LFF), Nasser Al-Suwaie, maintained that Libya did not violate any rules and regulations.
They supported their position with evidence and documents.
Libya reportedly engaged a top Tunisian lawyer for this appeal.
