Leke James has admitted that he is disappointed he has not been called up by the Super Eagles even after his goals crowned Molde FK champions of Norway last season.
The 27-year-old striker netted 15 goals in the league last season and this new season he has already helped himself to seven goals.
“It doesn’t feel good (not to be called up) despite my form,” he said in an interview.
“But I will keep working hard and hopefully I will get my chance.
“My dream is to play for the Super Eagles, so I will keep waiting till I get that chance.”
Some experts would look down on the Norwegian league, but Leke James would instead make a strong case for it.
“It’s a tough and highly physical league,” he defended.
“If you can succeed here, you can succeed in any other league.”
