Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has said they will be careful in easing Wilfred Ndidi back to action after his recent injury setback.
Rodgers was not definite Ndidi could be involved in tonight’s UEFA Europa League game against Spartak Moscow.
But he said the defensive midfielder will be ready for action at the weekend against Leeds.
“It’s certain he should be ready by the weekend,” Rodgers said.
“He has trained really well, we just have to be careful and mindful of the injury he’s coming back from.”
Ndidi aggravated a hamstring problem on September 25 against Burnley, but he has since returned to full team training even making the subs’ bench in the loss to Arsenal last weekend.
