The Super Eagles remain 40th in the world and sixth best team in Africa in the latest FIFA Rankings.
Morocco, AFCON champions Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt are the Top 5 African teams.
This month, the Eagles won a game (3-2 vs Mozambique) and drew another (2-2 vs Saudi Arabia).
The win over the Mambas of Mozambique was Nigeria’s first in a friendly in almost five years.
Nigeria will hope to improve their ratings by next month when they begin their quest to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
They first take on Lesotho in Uyo on November 17, before they fly out to Rwanda three days later to battle Zimbabwe.
