La Liga clubs as well as several Belgian rivals are up against Club Brugge for ‘New Onyedika’ Onyedika Onuorah.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who currently plays in Nigeria, has generated a lot of interest, according to Transfer Expert Rudy Galetti.
It’s unclear which other Belgian teams are involved, but Club Brugge are specifically mentioned.
The various clubs are closely monitoring Onuorah. Belgian and Spanish scouts are expected to attend upcoming matches to watch him in action.
His contract with Kun Khalifat Football Club runs until January 27, 202
Galetti described Onuorah’s qualities as follows: “A 19-year-old left-footed central midfielder. He has an impressive physical presence, tactical maturity, and technical skills. At 1.87 metres, Onuorah combines strength with control, qualities that have made him stand out to several scouts.”
In addition to his defensive work, Onuorah’s throw-ins are also highlighted.
Galetti noted that Onuorah has an unusual throw-in technique, but that it is indeed a weapon. Finally, Onuorah is described as part of a new wave of Nigerian talent ready for European football.
