Belgian club KV Kortrijk have announced that striker Terem Moffi is doubtful for Friday’s home tie against KAS Eupen due to a hamstring problem.
Moffi opened his goals account for the new season at KAA Gent at the weekend, but it came at a price as he was replaced after an hour of action on account of the hamstring injury.
“The Nigerian had some problems with the hamstring,” Kortrijk reported on Facebook.
“It’s still wait and see whether he gets to play the home game Friday against Eupen.”
Last season, the 21-year-old striker made a sensational entry to the league in Belgium when he scored four goals in seven league appearances following his arrival from Lithuania in January.
It was a form that has since attracted several clubs both in Belgium and France, but Kortrijk have maintained they will only be tempted by a 10 million Euros bid before they will sell Moffi, who still has three years left on his contract.
