SCORENigeria can reveal that Belgian club KV Kortrijk kept tabs on Terem Moffi for six months before they finally completed his transfer this week.
Kortrijk signed Moffi Wednesday on a three and a half years.
Terem Moffi, the son of former Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Leo Moffi, shone in Lithuania, scoring 20 goals in 28 league games as his club FK Riteriai finished third to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
His goals had also attracted interest from clubs in Belgium, France, Israel, Slovakia and Norway.
Kortrijk convinced Moffi to join them after they invited him over to Belgium to make him a smart presentation of their facilities, ambitions and how they hope to push young players like him to bigger leagues.
He was swayed by their serious interest to sign him.
In the meantime, the striker, who was involved with the Golden Eaglets Class of 2015, chose to wear jersey No 20 in tribute to the 20 goals he scored in the Lithuania league this past season.
