Anderlecht coach Vincent Kompany has said Paul Mukairu can develop into a top star in Belgium.
Mukairu was Man of the Match after he scored a goal and provided an assist for Anderlecht to advance to the next round of the Belgium Cup at the expense of non-league RFC Liege.
The winger has now scored three goals and delivered five assists since his arrival at the Brussels club in October.
“We still have to work on his efficiency, his finishing”, Kompany told Het Laatste Nieuws.
“That is the only thing Paul is missing to become an important player in Belgium.”
Mukairu is on a season-long loan from Turkish club Antalyaspor, but Anderlecht have the option to buy him on a permanent basis.
