Remo Stars goalkeeper Kayode Bankole is most likely to play second fiddle for the CHAN Eagles in tomorrow’s crucial 2025 CHAN playoff in Ghana.
Bankole, 22, was No 1 for the team when they were eliminated by the same Ghana for the previous CHAN.
His experience will therefore come in handy in Accra and he has shone in training camp ahead of this Jollof Derby.
However, SCORENigeria has reliably learnt that Enyimba shot stopper Henry Ozoemena will keep goal in Ghana because Bankole is no longer enjoying first-team football at Remo Stars.
The current Remo Stars No 1 is Benin international Serge Obassa.
Ozoemena has been Enyimba top choice in both the NPFL and the CAF Confederation Cup this season.
He is therefore also battle-hardened for the task ahead.
