Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has rejected he swap places with Victor Osimhen at Napoli.
Osimhen has been a long-term transfer target of Juventus, who though will have to make room for him with the departure of Serbian striker Vlahovic.
According to Corriere della Sera, Juventus had planned to throw in Vlahovic in their negotiations with Napoli so as to bring down the cost of Osimhen.
In the meantime, Juventus have since signed free agent and Canada striker Jonathan David.
It is now reported that Vlahovic rejected Napoli so that in a year he will quit Juventus a free agent when his contract would have run out.
July 15 has now taken a lot more importance as it concerns the future of Osimhen.
That will be the day, Napoli will resume pre-season training and it is also the day that Osimhen’s 75 Million Euros release clause will run out.
The expiry of the release clause would then mean that Napoli will now decide how much they will sell the Super Eagles striker.
