Jose Mourinho has prompted Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur to become the latest top European club to be linked with Victor Osimhen, who has been firing on full cylinders at French Ligue 1 club Lille.
According to the media in France, Mourinho has Osimhen top of his shopping list next month as he aims to strengthen his strike force in the January transfer window.
Osimhen, 20, signed a five-year contract with Lille in the summer from Belgian club Sporting Charleroi for 12 million Euros.
Lille coach Christophe Galtier has said he hopes Osimhen will still be at the club after the January transfer, but he also admitted that in football nothing is certain.
“Will he still be here (at Lille) in January? I think so, but then nothing is certain in football,” Galtier.
Osimhen has scored nine goals and provided three assists in all competitions so far.
