Slovakia-based defender Anthony Izuchukwu has joined the Super Eagles training camp in Austria to help solve the defensive crisis facing the team ahead of Friday’s friendly against Cameroon.
The Eagles are without several top defenders – Leon Balogun, Ola Aina, Kevin Akpoguma and Kenneth Omeruo.
Izuchukwu, 23, features for Spartak Trnava and has been capped by Nigeria at U23 level.
He is a key player of his Slovak club, who are currently involved in the championship playoffs.
The giant central defender has also played in Norway having moved to Europe since 2016.
