Everton forward Alex Iwobi has said he will shake off a “minor injury” in time for tomorrow’s 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia.
Iwobi did not train with the full Super Eagles squad.
“I’m just managing a little injury, but I will be fine,” he assured.
Germany-based defender Jamilu Collins is the other injury doubt for the Eagles and he also trained apart from the squad.
Nigeria get the second round of their World Cup qualifying campaign underway against Liberia tomorrow, before they travel to Cape Verde for another match on Tuesday.
