Alex Iwobi has been showered with praise after he grabbed his first-ever brace in the Premier League with Fulham.
Iwobi has not been a prolific goal scorer in the Premier League, but he struck twice for his London club to smash past Nottingham Forest 5-0 Wednesday night.
Fans on social media were lavish in their praise of the Super Eagles forward, who joined Fulham in the summer from Everton.
“Marco Silva (Fulham manager) got Iwobi scoring goals. That alone is MOTY year stuff,” hailed Do Bronx on X
“Another excellent display from him. Really looks like a top addition to the squad,” gushed Peter Ruztler.
“Well done to Alexander Iwobi tonight finally flourishing at a big club,” added Ryan Lester.
Iwobi has now netted three goals in the Premier League to match his best-ever season tally, which he achieved thrice at Arsenal – 2018/19, 2017/2018 and 2016/17.
