In a surprising turn of events, Israeli club Hapoel Jerusalem have officially parted ways with former Ikorodu City captain Waliu Ojetoye just a month after signing him.
The decision was reportedly made on mutual terms, with accommodation challenges cited as the reason for the separation.
Despite the short duration of his stay, Ojetoye’s release highlights the difficulties that can arise when adapting to a new environment, especially in a foreign country.
He will now return to Nigeria to explore new opportunities and restart his career.
