Milan giants, Inter and AC, are battling to pay 7.5 million Euros for Paul Mukairu, according to reports out of Italy.
Calciomercato has reported that newly crowned Serie A champions Inter are very interested in Mukairu and they would like to outdo city rivals AC Milan, who are also interested.
The Italians would be willing to pay 7.5 million Euros.
Anderlecht have not yet decided whether or not to exercise Mukairu’s purchase option.
If they did, they could then immediately sell the Nigerian winger for a handsome profit.
According to the report, Mukairu has the necessary potential. He had a strong period in the New Year, but afterwards he faded away.
He has so far scored four goals and provided four assists in 28 appearances on loan from Turkish club Antalyaspor.
However, in recent weeks he has not got a chance to show himself in the championship playoffs.
