Sweden-based midfielder Halimatu Ayinde and defender Paticia George have withdrawn from the Super Falcons squad for the 2021 Summer Series in Texas, USA, next week.
Ayinde suffered a knee injury in action for her Swedish club, while American-born George was also injured in training with her club.
The Super Falcons will begin their campaign in USA on June 10 against the Reggae Queens of Jamaica.
They then battle Portugal on June 13, before they take on the might of world champions USA three days later.
The nine-time African champions are preparing for a first round qualifier of the 2022 African Women’s Championship against rivals Ghana in October.
