Injury-troubled Fanendo Adi has been released by Major League Soccer (MLS) side FC Cincinnati.
He has suffered a muscle injury with doctors saying his return is unknown.
Adi, 29, joined Cincinnati in July 2018 from Timbers, where he won the MLS championship.
The big target man last played in the MLS in July 2019 after battling various types of injuries.
He has previously played in Denmark, Slovakia and Ukraine.
At the height of his career he was called up by the Super Eagles, but failed to make his debut.
