The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced that skipper Ahmed Musa is the latest player to pull out of next week’s friendly against Ukraine as he has yet to recover from injury.
He has the first two matches of his Saudi Arabian club Al Nasser even though he was replaced after 59 minutes in the second game.
In Musa’s absence, Udinese defender William Ekong will lead the Super Eagles out for the friendly.
Kenneth Omeruo, Tyronne Ebuehi, Henry Onyekuru and Wilfred Ndidi have already pulled out of the friendly billed for Tuesday’s friendly in Dnipro for various reasons.
Coach Gernot Rohr has also handed late call-ups to Club Brugge forward Bonaventure Dennis, Joshua Maja from Bordeaux and Russia-based defender Bryan Idowu.
