Halimatu Ayinde has backed the Super Falcons to fly high at the Paris 2024 Olympics even though she will not be part of the team due to a serious knee injury she suffered.
With a heavy heart, I announce I won't be part of the Super Falcons for the Olympics. I’m deeply grateful to FC Rosengård and my teammates for their support and love. Best of luck to my fellow Super Falcons. I’ll be cheering for you and will return stronger. Go Superfalcons!!💪 pic.twitter.com/wteE0uIMDa

‘Hally’ injured her left knee in training with Swedish club FC Rosengard.
This would have been her first Olympics.
She will now be replaced by one of the alternate players listed by coach Randy Waldrum for the summer games.
