Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will most likely miss next weekend’s Serie A clash against leaders AC Milan as well as a UEFA Europa League tie against Rijeka after he dislocated his shoulder in action for the Super Eagles.
Osimhen, 21, was forced out of a dramatic 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone in an AFCON qualifier Friday after he injured his shoulder.
Osimhen has scored four goals in the AFCON qualifiers.
Napoli are third on the Serie A table with 14 points from seven matches, three points behind leaders Milan.
The striker, who has so far scored twice in the Italian top flight since his record transfer from Ligue 1 club Lille this past summer, has already been ruled out of Tuesday’s reverse clash in Sierra Leone.
