Ademola Lookman may join fellow Leicester City teammate Wilfred Ndidi to miss out on the 2022 World Cup playoffs against Ghana due to injury.
Lookman was injured in a UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Rennes and was not listed by his premier League club for this past weekend’s win over Brentford.
He did not travel down to Nigeria with fellow Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho as he tries to ascertain the severity of the injury.
The daring forward was set for his Eagles debut after he changed his international allegiance to Nigeria after he previously represented England, where he was born.
