Former Nigeria U23 coach Imama Amapakabo has returned to lead Abia Warriors in the NPFL for the new season.
He has signed a two-year contract.
He first handled the Umuahia club in the 2020/21 season.
Amapakabo, whose previous NPFL clubs include Enyimba and El Kanemi Warriors, was until recently in Rwanda with Etoile FC.
Last season, Abia Warriors barely escaped relegation before they reached the President Federation Cup final for the first time in their history.
