Victor Ikpeba has backed Victor Osimhen to break the all-time Super Eagles all-time goals record that is held by the legendary Rashidi Yekini.
Osimhen took his Super Eagles goal tally to 25 after his brace in Rwanda to become the most prolific Nigeria international after Yekini, who scored 37 goals.
Former African Footballer of the Year Ikpeba said Osimhen is on course to beating the record of Yekini.
“By the way he is going, Osimhen will soon eclipse the record of Yekini,”predicted Ikpeba.
“He’s a fantastic lad and a committed player, who gives everything for the country.
“We will soon see whe he will break this record.”
We don’t need soothsayer for that because it’s glaringly seen it coming to pass very sooner or later.
